This update is late, very late.
When you last heard from us, all of your Balance Bars were nearing completion. Production finished smoothly, the packaging boxes arrived on time and all of our stock was sent to the warehouse.
Due to the incredibly high air freight prices - especially for something as dense as Balance Bar - we decided to put them on a ‘fast sea’ shipping route. After exporting all of your data and understanding how many units are needed to go to each location, we authorised the US and EU (inc UK) shipments to be loaded on a boat and sent out asap.
This service was supposed to be 25 days, but having spoken to the warehouse team it seems the boat sat in port for nearly 3 weeks while it was slowly being filled. This was not something we were aware could happen, but apparently at this time of year it does.
Long story short - the tracking on sea shipping only goes live when it reaches the port at the other end. UPS are waiting to receive the US orders and that is due to happen mid-august. The UK shipment however has arrived with us TODAY - hence why this update is coming now, we have something concrete to share.
UK Shipping
UK orders are going to be bagged and labelled today, ready to be collected tomorrow so they can begin their final journey to you. We have instructed the ROW orders to be sent also so many of you will be receiving your Balance Bar this month!

We can only apologise for the radio silence, we’re at the mercy of global transportation at the moment and it’s a depressing lack of control!

Hello Everyone!
Production is nearing completion - there have been a few setbacks with marks/swirls in the silicone and each round of moulding taking longer than the factory forecast but overall we are in a really good place with the quantities and quality!
Packaging sampling has been completed, as has the carry case! See photos below of the final samples.
At the current pace, all your Balance Bars are due to be completed and boxed up next week, ready to be sent to our shipping warehouse! Watch this space for the next exciting update!

We cannot thank you enough for supporting Balance Bar and helping to get it funded! We are currently ahead of schedule having got started with the tool already!
We're now playing the waiting game with Kickstarter to collect your reward sums, which they will be doing over the next week or so. We'll then be getting the address surveys put together and ready to be sent out with an add-on store for anyone who wants to pick up any extras!
Production will be underway ASAP, we're waiting on packaging samples (about a week) and will get an update posted as soon as these are in hand and the production schedule is confirmed.

Balance Bar was funded in under 60 minutes, and it's all thanks to you!
A short KS campaign is always a gamble but we're looking to get these out to you with minimal delay which is why work on the tooling has already begun!! It'll take a couple of weeks to be finished but getting it going now really puts us ahead of the game on production and shipping timelines!
Carry Case:
A couple of you have asked for images of the carry case and this is what we are proposing - a rugged drawstring sleeve that will carry up to two bars. The bag is ideal for keeping everything neat and tidy together, stopping any dirt/dust/fluff getting onto the bar and also acting as a handy storage pouch for anything you don't want in your pockets at the gym.
